FatBoy Wheel Technology was truly born out of three unique conditions. The first was we always took the time to listen to our customers. Some great ideas have been born by simply taking the time to listen to your customers to discover what may make their life easier and your product better. In 2009 we did just that. On a Friday afternoon one of our customers told Ron Reed, founder of GearGuard Sports and NO ERRORS about the challenges they and other s like them had with using in line skate wheels on their own baseball bags. They showed us how inline skates wheels were really poorly made for bags that had to travel over dirt and rocks and other natural surfaces which caused the wheels to become damaged and eventually took its toll on the bag itself.

FatBoy Wheel TechnologuyThe second condition was just a case of timing. The very next day after traveling back from working with customers Reed spent his Saturday morning watching his two young sons play with a Monster truck remote toy in the street of his neighborhood home. As the two boys pushed the toy truck to the limit, climbing over dirt mounds, rocks and anything else they could discover laying around Reed begin to imagine the wheel from the truck on his own line of bags. He realized that his customer from the previous day had a valid point and he may have just found a solution by simply watching his two boys enjoy a toy.

That is where the real challenge and third condition came in to play. The wheel on the remote controlled toy was built specifically for a remote control toy. The toy wheel would not take the abuse and weight that an avid baseball player or softball players bag would endure. Reed began to research everything he could about wheels and with some luck and a lot of help he found the right people who could help him engineer a wheel specifically built for his type of product. Reed may have put a number of pieces together but it was truly a combination of a lot of things that made this idea come to life.

Since the FatBoy Wheel was launched it has been built and assembled for not only baseball and softball bags but other bag related products as well. Its extreme durability and functionality is even used in some military bags.

FatBoy Wheels are just another example of how all the products that are developed within the line of NO ERRORS baseball bat bags, catchers bags and more are created out of necessity. We want our products to resolve some sort of issue for our user. We are not excited about products that are simply “me to products” but rather provide something of true benefit to our users. That’s the difference between us and all the rest. We only put out products that create a real point of difference between us and our co
